Job Description: Lead a team of QA engineers to help deliver the best quality solutions with highest efficiency!
Your primary responsibilities include:
• Work with the Development Lead and Business Analyst to understand customer requirements and business context.
• Be an innovation Partner, not a do-as-told tester. We are looking for intelligent QA Engineers who question everything and strive to put themselves in customer’s shoes.
• Be a proud team member of a team testing web applications for one of the most popular TV networks in India.
Qualification Criteria:
Must Have:
• Minimum 3 years of total Software experience, with 2 years of hands-on experience in testing web applications.
• Good understanding of multi-tier and distributed web applications.
• Programming knowledge of at least one language.
• Ability to troubleshoot and dig deep into system architecture to understand how all pieces of the system fit together.
• Knowledge of networking, tools such as firebug, charles, fiddler or other proxy.
Nice to Have:
• Knowledge of one of the automation tools.
• Exposure to JMeter or other load testing tools.
• Experience with SCRUM, Agile methodology
Experience:
• Minimum 3 years of Web Application Development Experience in a mainstream technology
• 2+ years of web application testing.
Education: BE / MCS / MCA / MCM required
Evaluation process: Phone screen followed by a technical interview
